NowGen exsits to lead youth and young adults into a life-changing relationship with Jesus. Through worship, biblical teaching, and intentional community, we equip the next generation, or as Pastor McQueen calls them - the NOW generation - to stand firm in their faith and live out the Gospel with purpose.

NowGen is the Youth & Young Adult ministry of New Hope Baptist Church (NHBC), created to equip the next generation to know Jesus deeply, grow in their faith, and live out the Gospel with confidence. We believe God is raising up a generation that isn't merely aware of who Jesus is, but is transformed by Him - through worship, and surrounded by a Christ-centered community
At NowGen, students encounter biblical teaching that speaks to their real lives and their real questions. We open Scripture together, discuss what it means, and talk honestly about the challenges and pressure our generation faces. Our desire is to help every student understand the Gospel clearly: our condition before Christ, what He has done to save us, and the new life we are invited to walk in with Him.
Community is at the heart of what we do. We create a welcoming, encouraging environment where youth and young adults can build friendships, ask questions, grow spiritually, and discover their God-given identity and purpose. Through small groups, prayer, worship, and intentional discipleship, we walk with students as they learn how to follow Jesus not just on Sundays - but in school, at work, in relationships, and in the everyday rhythms of life.
NowGen isn't just a ministry; it's a movement of young people pursuing Jesus together. Out prayer is that each student becomes rooted in truth, strengthened by grace, and bold in their faith - living as witnesses of Christ in their homes, their schools, and their world.
