Rev. Vincent R. Miller was born in Farmington, W. Va., on March 4, 1935. He was the youngest of nine children born to Rev. William and Ellen Miller. Rev. Miller received his basic education in the public schools of Farmington and Fairmont, W. Va. He received his religious training from the Baptist School of The Bible and The Cleveland Bible College of Cleveland, Ohio. He is also a graduate of The Moody Evening School.
Rev. Miller has pastored in Painesville for thirty-nine years. He served the St. John Baptist Church for five and one half years. Rev. Miller founded the New Hope Baptist Church in June of 1972. He has been pastoring New Hope for more than thirty-three years. Rev. Miller has been married to his wife Rose for fifty plus years. To this union were born four lovely daughters who are an intricate part of the ministry at New Hope: Alisa, Anita, Amelia, and Amanda.
Because of a faithful congregation New Hope has maintained a vital ministry in Painesville to all ages. Thanks to the loving leadership of Rev. Miller.
